Indian Caste Based Census-2011

Surgery of Reservations
Many of the Indians think that govt. doing caste based census is in no mood to remove the reservations but it is not so as the requirement of reservation will be felt untill there exist social inequality and to remove this we need head to head social plan implementation. Today what the planners of the Planning commission needs is the real data of head counts of different socially vulnerable groups for the proper planning purpose rather than the raw data on which the reports of Mandal commision were based. The reservations of different socially vulnerable groups i.e. SC, ST, OBC, PH, Minority etc. is not provided by the Constitution of India but the theme is embeded in the preamble by the word EQUALITY and in the Directive Principle of State Policy and conducting such a census is a committed approach towards the fulfillment of desires of the constitution makers.
The merit of  such an exercise will be to get the ability of perfect policy planning so that the policies avails benefit to these under-developed sections of this nation and for the successfull implementation of plans but what I am trying to point out is something which is after effect of such an activity as the Govt. of India had given reservation for OBC in 1990's from that day upto today the population in this class has exploded a lot and a wide range of possibilities are there that the person's of this particular class OBC are not aware of there numbers so there is no agitation for quick removal of inequality but as the head-counts will come out the numbers would be on paper in black and there share in the country population will be not an imaginative as till today but a heavy one, then these groups will become conscious about there quick development and may demand some higher percentage of reservations since demands at that moment will be endless so the Govt. of India should be aware of the coming situations or just try to think liberally that is to not provide reservations on the base of caste classification but to provide it on financial ability to the poor section of the society which is the real requirement of the todays generation......
